Clinical Requirements:

Requirements:

Complex Care Support Worker – Hereford (ASAP Start)

Location: Hereford
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9-hour day shifts

We are urgently seeking an experienced Complex Care Support Worker to provide one-to-one support for a client with autism, severe learning disabilities, ADHD, an eating disorder, and challenging behaviour. This role requires a compassionate, patient, and proactive individual who can create a calm and structured environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personalised support tailored to the client’s needs and preferences.
  • Encouraging and assisting the client in engaging with his hobbies, including walking, arts and crafts, gardening, and various community-based activities.
  • Supporting the client in building confidence and independence in a structured and reassuring manner.
  • Using de-escalation techniques and a breakaway-trained approach to manage challenging behaviours (restraint is not permitted).
  • Helping to establish routines that promote emotional well-being and stability.
  • Communicating effectively with the wider support team and family members.

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting individuals with complex needs, including autism, ADHD, severe learning disabilities, and challenging behaviours.
  • Breakaway training (not restraint-based) is essential.
  • A valid driving licence – while driving responsibilities will not be immediate, we prefer candidates who can eventually transport the client.
  • Strong communication skills – a clear, calming, and non-reactive approach is essential.
  • Ability to remain composed under pressure and manage situations with a de-escalation mindset.
  • A stable and balanced personal life, as the client is highly perceptive to stress in others.

We are looking for a support worker who is emotionally resilient, patient, and consistent. The right person will have a calm demeanor, be adaptable, and avoid reactive behaviour. This role is not suited to individuals with a highly stressful or dramatic personal life, as the client is sensitive to external stressors.

Complex Care Assistant 

Location: Enfield, North London
Hours: Tuesdays & Wednesdays
Pay: £16 per hour (PAYE)
Start Date: Immediate

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Complex Care Assistant to provide dedicated care for a 1-year-old boy with complex healthcare needs. This role will start with 2 days per week and may gradually increase over time as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • NG Feeding: Assist with nasal-gastric feeding
  • CPAP Therapy: Provide support for CPAP therapy
  • Oxygen Support: Administer and monitor oxygen as prescribed
  • Suctioning: Perform oral and deep suctioning
  • Monitoring: Regularly monitor vital signs and stats to ensure stability

Requirements:

  • Experience in complex care, particularly with young children
  • Knowledge of NG feeding, CPAP, oxygen, and suctioning
  • Ability to monitor and track vital signs and stats
  • Compassionate, reliable, and patient approach
  • DBS check required (we can arrange this)
  • Experience with home care

Paediatric Nurse – Complex Care 
Location: East Malling, Kent

We are seeking a Paediatric Nurse to provide complex care for a young patient in East Malling, Kent. This rewarding opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact in the life of a child, working in a supportive and caring environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality personal care to a paediatric patient
  • Support with PEG feeding and ensure safe and effective administration
  • Perform suctioning past the back teeth as required
  • Administer NIV ventilation and Bi-Pap therapy
  • Manage seizure care and provide timely interventions
  • Administer medications as prescribed
  • Carry out Moving and Handling tasks safely
  • Maintain clear and accurate care records

Requirements:

  • Paediatric nursing qualification (RGN or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in complex care, especially with PEG feeds, NIV Ventilation, and seizure management
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle (due to the location of the role)
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the care team
  • Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
