HCA – Domiciliary care – North London

Airmid Staffing are now recruiting in the north London area for talented, committed, experienced HCA’s with experience in domiciliary care for work based in London. Opportunities available on both a part time or full time basis.

 

Must be a driver.

 

This role would suit reliable, kind, caring, compassionate support workers looking for a role offering a high level of job satisfaction, a supportive team environment and excellent rates of pay.

Requirements:

· You must have the right to work and live in the UK; therefore, you must be a UK Citizen or Indefinite Leave to Remain.

· Basic Life Support & Moving and Handling (Practical)

· DBS on the update service

· Have at least 6 months experience in the UK

· Be able to commit to getting compliant within the next few days. 2 satisfactory professional references

· Proof of eligibility to work in the UK and meet the above criteria.

Job Title: Complex Care Coordinator (Bridging Project)

Location: Shoreditch EC2A 3QT

Job type: Full-time permanent

Hours: 8 am – 6 pm Hybrid (3 days a week office – Tuesday / Thursday and Friday) 2 days home.

Salary: up to £30K pa (DOE) plus commission on GP

 

 

Role Overview

 

We are seeking a dynamic and organised Complex Care Coordinator to join our fast-paced Bridging Project team. This pivotal role involves coordinating high-quality home care services to support individuals transitioning between hospital and home, or within the community. You will be responsible for managing schedules, liaising with care teams and clients, and ensuring exceptional standards of care delivery in a demanding, fast-moving environment.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

·         Plan, organise, and manage care schedules for service users, ensuring appropriate allocation of carers.

·         Respond promptly to changing care needs, making adjustments to schedules as required.

·         Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth care transitions.

 

Staff Supervision & Support

 

·         Lead and support the care team, providing guidance and supervision to maintain high standards.

·         Co-ordinate staff inductions, training, and performance reviews.

·         Manage staff rotas, ensuring coverage for weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

 

Client Relations

 

·         Act as the main point of contact for clients and their families, addressing concerns or issues promptly.

·         Oversee onboarding, initial assessments, and regular reviews of client care plans.

·         Ensure clients’ needs are met with dignity, respect, and professionalism.

 

Compliance & Administration

 

·         Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with regulatory standards.

·         Ensure compliance with CQC standards and company policies.

·         Prepare reports and participate in audits as required.

 

 

Skills and Qualifications

 

·         Proven experience in domiciliary care coordination or a similar role.

·         Strong understanding of care planning, risk assessments, and CQC requirements.

·         Exceptional organisational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·         Competent IT skills for managing scheduling software and documentation.

·         Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required.
