About the Client:
Our client is a young gentleman (15 years of age) with Cerebral Palsy, who will be recovering from invasive spinal surgery. We need someone who understands the possible challenges and setbacks of post-surgery recovery and you will need to be warm, kind, and communicative.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting a young gentleman with his recovery from spinal surgery
- Monitoring his movement and pain management, to ensure he is comfortable, and pain is controlled
- Work with the family, and the Airmid MDT to provide continuity and stability to this young person.
A Few Essentials:
- Experience with post-surgery recovery
- Previous experience working within Paediatrics
- Calm, patient, and respectful of quiet time as well as sociable moments
- Able to think on your feet and adapt to different moods and situations
- Confident & effective communicator who’s happy to work with Airmid’ s MDT and the family.
