Paediatric Complex Care Nurse – Cardiff, South London

  • Location: Cardiff, South Wales

  • Pay Rate: £48,000 per year FTE or £29.77 per hour (PAYE)

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Paediatric Complex Care Nurse to provide specialist care for a 7-month-old baby with complex medical needs. This is a highly rewarding role where your expertise will make a significant impact on the child’s well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • NG Feeding – Provide nutritional support via a NG tube.

  • Suctioning – Perform both oral and deep suctioning to manage secretions.

  • Medication Administration – Accurately administer and manage multiple medications via an NG Tube.

  • Oxygen Saturation Monitoring – Ensure oxygen levels remain stable and within a safe range.

Requirements:

  • Experience in paediatric complex care, ideally with infants.

  • Proficiency in epilepsy care, NG feeding, suctioning, and medication administration.

  • Ability to remain calm and act effectively in emergency situations.

  • Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centred approach.
