Complex Care Support Worker – Southeast London
Pay: £15/hr (PAYE) | £18/hr (Umbrella)
Shifts:

  • Waking Nights: 19:45 – 09:00

  • After School Hours: 15:30 – 20:00

  • Saturday Day Shift: 08:45 – 18:00

Airmid Staffing is looking for a Compassionate Complex Care Support Worker to support a young patient in a home-based setting in Southeast London. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a child’s life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality personal care to a paediatric patient

  • PEG feeding and safe medication administration

  • Perform oral suctioning as needed

  • Epilepsy management and emergency interventions

  • Administer prescribed medications

  • Safe Moving and Handling procedures

  • Keep clear and accurate care records

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year experience with paediatric patients

  • Strong background in complex care, including PEG feeds, suctioning, and epilepsy

  • Compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented

  • Right to work in the UK

  • At least 6 months personal care experience (home, hospital, or care home)

  • Experience with diabetes care is a plus

  • DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain

  • Valid Basic Life Support and Manual Handling training

  • Two professional references
