Training and Development

The professional development of our employees is essential to delivering high level care and for meeting our client’s needs and expectations as well as supporting you to develop.

The more training you undertake during your time with Airmid Staffing, the more you increase your work opportunities. This can be as much as up to 60%.

All Staff are mandated to complete online training units and must renew these units when expired. We also offer training via our candidate App called Airmid RECO.

As well as fundamental development, that is often delivered as mandatory annual training modules and when needed as part of your onboarding process, you will be encouraged to undertake more specific training so that you can specialise in a specific area for example Dementia care or develop into a more senior role.

25% of our workforce have been developed and promoted into Field Care Supervisors where they manage care delivery in the Local Communities and all members of our Nursing Clinical Team have been developed from Airmid staff working in the field.

We encourage all workers to complete the Care Certificate and on completion we offer the additional opportunity to become an Assessor (based locally in the Community) for the Care Certificate.
