The Airmid team collectively has over four decades of experience in providing specialist care to people in their own homes, ensuring that they can continue living with their loved ones during a time of need with excellent care. We focus on ensuring that those we support feel comfortable, respected and receive a high-level of care, tailored to their individual needs by collaborating with them to define a personalised care plan.
We can provide a wide range of support to people in their homes (Adults and Children) including Complex Care at Home, Bridging Services, Discharge to assess, Hospital from home amongst others, enabling people to leave hospital when they are ready. We can support with long term personal care to individuals, including palliative care and our wide client base also includes Case Management companies, Charities, ICB’S; CHC’s, Local Authorities and the NHS.

The young lady provided to help my wife was truly exceptional. Not only did she get my wife up, showered and dressed very efficiently but she went to the hotel restaurant to get her a breakfast tray, as the hotel did not provide breakfast room service. She subsequently politely berated the service manager as some facilities in the room were not as promised. On checking out the service manager, rather surprisingly in the circumstances, actually told me that she thought I had a very good carer, to which I concurred.
I just wanted to thank the team for the fantastic support that my mother Kath has received since her hospital discharge. From that moment you were the service she needed, to the last call she received, you have all been amazing. The family are humbled about the speed that the service was set in place and the other agencies that you also arranged, such as her lifeline and OT, together with the regular contact you made to ensure the service was carried out correctly and that mum was happy and safe. Honestly, we’re so grateful.
Working alongside the team has been an absolute pleasure. They communicated effectively on a daily basis regarding the care needs of the patients they supported. Their approach was open, honest, and transparent, demonstrating a deep understanding of both the service they were working with and the care they were providing. Thanks to their support, we were able to reduce hospital admissions and facilitate more discharges, which made a significant difference. The team was responsive to feedback and always worked collaboratively to find solutions to any challenges that arose. We would be more than happy to work with them again should we need a bridging service in the future. A special thanks to the team leader, who worked tirelessly, using every hour available to ensure this service succeeded. Her dedication ensured that patients received exceptional care, and the process ran smoothly. Thank you again to the whole team, and we look forward to potentially working together again in the future.
