Complex Care Assistant – Night Shifts – Sevenoaks, Kent
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Healthcare Assistant to provide overnight care for a 7-year-old child with complex medical needs in their home in Sevenoaks. This role involves Tracheostomy Care and PEG Feeding and ensuring the child’s comfort and well-being throughout the night.
Job Details:
- Location: Sevenoaks, Kent
- Pay: £15 per hour PAYE
- Shift Pattern: Thursdays and Saturdays
- Night Shifts: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Responsibilities:
- PEG tube feeding and management
- Tracheostomy Care and Suctioning
- Offer compassionate care
- Oxygen therapy
- Monitor and respond to any changes in the child’s condition
- Administer medications as per care plan
- Ensure the child is safe, comfortable, and settled throughout the night
- Maintain clear and accurate care records
This is a home-based role, working closely with the child’s family and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality, person-centred care.

Requirements:
- Right to work in the UK
- Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
- At least 6 months of personal care experience (home care, hospital, or care home)
- DBS on update service or willingness to obtain one
- Basic Life Support and Moving/Handling training
- Two professional references
